Removing Nail Glue from Skin
Materials
You will need:
- Cotton swabs
- Nail polish remover
- A toothbrush
Steps
Nail glue can be incredibly stubborn and tricky to remove from the skin. The most surefire way to remove it is by using an acetone-based nail polish remover. However, acetone can be harsh on the skin, so it is important to use it sparingly and to avoid getting it on your eyes or mucous membranes.
To remove nail glue from your skin, follow these steps:
- Dip a cotton swab in nail polish remover.
- Gently rub the cotton swab over the nail glue.
- Let the nail polish remover sit on the nail glue for a few seconds.
- Use a toothbrush to gently scrub away the nail glue.
- Rinse the area with water.
If the nail glue is still not removed, you can try using a stronger solvent, such as rubbing alcohol or mineral spirits. However, be sure to test the solvent on a small area of skin first to make sure it does not cause irritation.
