Los Angeles to Host 2028 Summer Olympics
City Selected by IOC for Third Time
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has selected Los Angeles to host the 2028 Summer Olympics, making it the third city to host the Games three times.
Los Angeles will join London and Paris as the only cities to host the Olympics three times. The city previously hosted the Games in 1932 and 1984.
The 2028 Olympics will be the first to be held in the United States since the 1996 Games in Atlanta.
